Why? That’s simple, Nalini shoes are ergonomic and custom-fit, with stiff carbon soles that promote air circulation inside — yes, out with the old air, in with the new air. Cooler, more comfortable pedaling results.
Here are some examples of pro riders pedaling in Nalini shoes
Angel Mandrazo, Fran Ventoso, Rui Costa, Enrike Sanz Unzue — all riding for Movistar — and Bessy Cyril, of Saur Sojasun, all wear the Nalini KRAKEN, benefiting from the KRAKEN’s microfiber heel, anatomic fit, antibacterial and highly breathable foot bed, and adjustable closing system with the Fly aluminium buckle.
Igor Anton, of team Euskaltel Euskadi, prefers the Nalini DOLPHIN, with its stabilizer in TPU and bi-injection molded heel, three Velcro-strap closing system, anatomic fit, and antibacterial foot bed.
Andrey Bikkzakova, also with Movistar, and Antonio Perez, with team Caja Rural, wear the Nalini MARLIN. Bikkzakova prefers the classic MARLIN model with characteristics similar to the DOLPHIN but with a special hive design on the upper, ideal to dress firmly the feet. Perez prefers the MARLIN but in the Blu version.
Last but not least, Ivan Gutierrez, of Movistar wears the Nalini OCTOPUS PLUS. Featuring polyester lining and equipped with silicone anti-skid inserts, they are covered with a special upper half glossy and half opaque and they have a microfiber heel with thermoplastic reinforcement inside.

All Nalini shoes are available exclusively through Albabici.

Men’s Health magazine, the wildly popular guide to guy fitness and fashion, ran a full-page article based on a French study of cycling fabrics and riding in hot weather. The study looked at the differences in different polyester fabrics and how they affected performance and body cooling.
Nalini’s MantoDry large-weave polyester fabric, as used in the Nalini Acrab jersey, proved to be the coolest choice for cyclists looking to stay cool. The resulting article featured a huge image of a dramatically photographed rider donning the Acrab top — with the Nalini logo type prominently displayed.
Circulation of Men’s Health? A cool 1.8 million readers. MH even linked to one of Albabici’s top online retailers, www.carbonconnection.com. Here’s how it looked in print:
