UDR: Unidirectional Carbon Rim Reinforced
This carbon fiber is designed to work in the line of force of the main load. This allows to maintain a very high rigidness/ weight ratio. The rim with this type of fiber is lighter and more resistant to loads and is reinforced with the addition of material in the nipples. Thanks to a treatment in which nano elastomeric undergoes the rim, the fiber appears to be more resistant to any micro-fracture. Moreover, thanks to the use of a particular seam in the layers of carbon in the area of the spoke nipples, it has a better compactness within the rim which avoids the delaminating of the layers of carbon.
3K Carbon Fiber
3K is a woven carbon fiber frame and each carbonsquare is composed of 3000 filaments. The plot is less visible and has a stiffness / weight which is slightly lower than the UK. The rim with this fiber type is more versatile and safe.
Marble UD Finishing
Marble UD finishing is a carbon fiber “amorphous”. Presents non-uniform grain and is similar in appearance to the surface of marble. Its non-uniformity allows it to withstand stress from multiple directions.
HTG: High-TG Resin System
The carbon used in these rims and soaked by a particular resin is very resistant to high temperatures created from the brake pads on the rim. This part causes a lower deterioration of the carbon in time and thus a better performance of the final rim. A particular metal fiber on the braking track of the rim, which has the ability to dissipate more efficiently the heat generated through the braking process.
HPS: Heating Protection Shield
An important system of inorganic reinforced fiber. Where the heat which is created from the rim during the breaking process is blocked by this particular shield, allowing the internal structure not to affect the integrity of the carbonHDS: Heating Dissipation System
A particular metal fiber on the braking track of the rim, which has the ability to dissipate more efficiently the heat generated through the braking process.
BBS: Ball Bearing System
System where four hub bearings are inserted for optimum fluidity. In the area behind the rear wheel hub there are two bearings in a line that restrict the pin from bending. The reduction of the lack eliminates the dispersion of power exerted on the wheel.
DSH: Double Seals Hubs For MTB
For protection the water is mounted in the hub with a double seal.
DSS: Deep Spina System
The junction of the two parts of the wheels rim is done through the use of calibrated stainless steel pins to Carbon. This process of interference creates an elevated resistance to traction.
DWS: Deep Welded System
This System allows a perfect resistance to traction, torsion, and tear at the vulnerable point of the wheels rim. The wheels rim is designed in close connection with alloy 50886 H34 and then glued to the hill through the injection of high structural features, according to the process EPX Scotch WEID.
AS: Asymmetrical System For MTB
Asymmetrical system is a technological innovation in the construction of the rim, which allows to obtain a uniform tension of the spokes also with the system ratio 1:1. With the technology AS, the wheel is considerably more rigid and reactive, thus also increasing the driving comfort. In this way guaranteeing optimal transmission, the power developed by the cyclist is braking in which pedal.
LCS: Lane Control System
The sides of the wheel rim are CNC machine anodized with high precision unit. This process allows efficient braking due to increased friction and a high degree of parallelism between the pad and rim.
SLN: Self Lock Nipples
Thanks to the patented self-locking nipples sphere perforated nylon is inserted into the brim of the spoke nipples, This totally eliminates the problem, when decreasing speed, of rays, allowing the wheel to stay centered and tensioned over time.
